Episode 16: “Safe” Adults Aren’t Always Safe: Lessons from the Latest Clergy Scandal

On this episode of The Heartful Parent Podcast, I am challenging you join me in taking a stand and truly making a difference to prevent child sexual abuse.

It is time to start asking questions to ALL the adults and organizations that are involved in our children’s lives. And it is time to teach our children about 3 very important forms of Safe Boundaries so they have the knowledge and the power to be safe, happy, and whole.

A great place to start is Episode 14: Keeping Your Kids Safe at Summer Camp with Cherie Benjoseph to get some great information about the questions you need to ask and the conversations you need to have to keep your kids safe. (The information Cherie gives us can apply to many situations ––not just summer camp!)

This is a sensitive topic, but it is important. So please listen, share, and reach out if you need help or support. You can email me christy@theheartfulparent.com. You can also get resources from me by signing up for my newsletter
